These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law and constitute the entire agreement between you and D.S. regarding your use of our website and purchase of our products.

By placing an order with luxurywoodenpens.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any purchase.

1. Orders and Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to acceptance by us
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion
  • A contract between you and us will only be formed when we send you confirmation that we have dispatched the goods

2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
  • Prices may change without notice, but any changes will not affect orders already confirmed
  • Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched

3. Product Information

  • We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate
  • Minor variations in wood grain, colour, and finish are natural characteristics and not defects
  • Custom engravings and modifications may affect delivery times

4. Cancellation Rights

  • You may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK)
  • Custom engraved or modified items cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has commenced
  • Cancellation or return must be notified via email to info@luxurywoodenpens.com

Shipping Policy

Carriers and Methods

We ship via multiple carriers depending on country destination and order urgency. Our preferred carriers include:

  • Royal Mail
  • FedEx
  • UPS

Packaging and Insurance

  • All pens are securely packaged to ensure safe delivery
  • All packages are fully insured against loss or damage in transit
  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt

Shipping Costs

  • UK Mainland: Approximately £5.99
  • International: £12.00
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and may vary based on destination and service selected

Delivery Times

  • UK Mainland: 48-72 hours
  • Edinburgh, Scotland: 24 hours
  • International: 5-15 days
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control

Warranty Policy

Standard Warranty Coverage

All pens come with a 2-year warranty from date of purchase, covering:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material failures under normal use
  • Functional issues with writing mechanisms

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Customized items (including later-added engraving)
  • Any modifications not performed by us
  • Damage caused by rapid temperature changes
  • Damage from contact with water or ice
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or misuse
  • Excessive patina or stain from greasy hands

Extended Warranty

  • Extended warranty coverage available for £100
  • Extends standard warranty by additional period of 3 years
  • Same terms and exclusions apply

Material Considerations

Our pens are crafted from wood, wood & resin, and other natural materials that are sensitive to environmental changes. Proper care should be taken to avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, and physical stress.
